Calling all budding entrepreneurs!
Foróige NFTE is running a Design Challenge over the summer for young people all around the country. The NFTE Design Challenge is focused on solving problems facing our society using an entrepreneurial mind-set. Young people can enter the challenge individually or as a group. Participants are asked to develop an idea for a product, service or innovation that will help solve an issue facing society either locally, nationally or globally.
This is a great opportunity for young people to leverage their entrepreneurial mindset to create new solutions to existing problems. Young people will be able to demonstrate their entrepreneurial spirit by exhibiting skills such as: Initiative, flexibility, adaptability, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and innovation. As a result encouraging young people to be open to new ideas and to apply a solution focused approach to the challenges in a fun, innovative and creative format.
Young people must complete the consent form and talk to their youth worker or contact Angela (contact details below) about the kinds of issues that might be relevant in each area.
