Over 400 people from 15 GAA clubs across Ireland came together in Croke Park to celebrate the achievements of Foróige young people involved in the Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative. It was a brilliant day of recognition and community spirit.
The Dermot Earley initiative, powered by Foróige in partnership with the GAA, University of Galway and the Earley family, equips 15–18-year-olds with leadership tools such as goal setting, critical thinking, teamwork and communication, all rooted in the values of Dermot Earley Snr.
At the recognition event, the young leaders received their certificates from the GAA President, marking the hours of workshops and community action behind every achievement.
A huge well done to every young person, club facilitator and supporter involved. Foróige is proud to champion spaces where leadership is earned, celebrated, and ready to shape the next generation.
