Last weekend, more than 3,000 Foróige young people travelled to Knockmore, Co. Mayo for Amplified 2025 – Ireland’s largest alcohol-free youth music festival.
Held at Knockmore GAA Grounds, Amplified brought young people together from across the country for an unforgettable night of music, connection and celebration. The event is made possible by the dedication of hundreds of Foróige volunteers, who help plan, manage and deliver every aspect of the festival.
This year’s main stage lineup kept the energy high all night, with sets from DJ La, DJ Avocado, iRadio’s Steven Cooper and Sharron Lynskey, SPIN’s Marty Guilfoyle, DJ Ois Bosh, and a crowd-pleasing finale by rising duo New Era.
Alongside the music, festival-goers enjoyed a silent disco, carnival rides, chill-out spaces, games and food stalls – all designed with fun, safety and inclusion in mind.
Now in its third year, Amplified is proof of what’s possible when young people are given the space to lead, to create, and to come together on their own terms.
