Case Study 3

Foróige GoVirtual Case Study 3: A Shared Vision Across Borders

Foróige & HUMAK: A Spatial Gallery of European Youth Work
What happens when youth workers from Ireland and Finland step into the same virtual room? When ideas travel not just by plane, but through headsets – shared instantly, playfully, across borders?

ERASMUS+ DIGITAL YOUTH WORK EXCHANGE FORÓIGE / HUMAK KA2

That was the spirit behind a unique Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership between Foróige GoVirtual and HUMAK University of Applied Sciences. The aim: to grow the digital capacity of both organisations and explore how digital youth work can support isolated and marginalised young people across Ireland and Finland.

Together, we imagined a different kind of report – a spatial gallery instead of a static PDF. Built in virtual space, this gallery invites you to walk through the partnership. You can explore our shared learning, our youth-centred tools, and the evolving vision of digital youth work not just as a set of skills – but as a mindset of inclusion, creativity and reach.

The collaboration has already laid the foundation for bigger ambitions. A new partnership developed.. Strategic planning is underway. And the gallery stands as a reminder:
The future of youth work isn’t just digital – it’s collaborative, borderless, and full of possibility.
