GoVirtual - Foróige

GoVirtual reflects our commitment to meeting young people where they are and reducing barriers to participation.

The ways in which we interact and communicate online are being revolutionised. GoVirtual brings Foróige ahead of the curve in evolving youth work and non-formal education into virtual and immersive spaces. We are showing that we can use these spaces for good by engaging young people in positive ways that support their development. This is radically altering the potential of youth work to reach young people who experience isolation, either physical or nonphysical.

GoVirtual is part of Foróige’s digital youth work and focuses on engaging young people in immersive online spaces through virtual reality.

While GoVirtual doesn’t oversee online clubs, special interest groups, or e-mentoring, VR is used as a tool within these and other settings – contributing to the wider digital ecosystem across Foróige.
