Leadership for Life Programme Accreditation

Registration for Accreditation in 2023 is now open!

Apply Here!

On completion of all three modules of the Foróige Leadership for Life programme, participants are eligible to graduate with a Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action, which is awarded by the University of Galway. This is a very unique opportunity for participants to earn a University recognised qualification, before they even consider going to third level education. Having this qualification will show prospective employers that participants have demonstrated a commitment to their own development and leadership potential. This is a wonderful achievement to be able to include in a CV or application form.

If you wish to graduate you must register with the University of Galway. By registering, you are committing to having all three modules completed by the end of June of the year you wish to graduate.  Registration for graduation in 2023 is now open! All those interested in graduating with the Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership & Community Action in 2023 must be aged 16 or over by the 1st January 2023.

A fee of €300 is to be paid for the addrediation. This fee can be paid in installments but must be fully paid by the 31st of March 2023. A deposit of €100 must be paid after registration. All information in relation to this will be send to applicants once they register.

If you have any questions about registration contact us at [email protected].

Leadership for Life Bursary 2023

Foróige has an annual bursary which is intended to assist those that may have difficulty in raising the fee of €300 from their own resources. It is also intended for those who have shown real commitment and achievement throughout the programme and who would benefit from having some financial support towards the accreditation fee.

We want to ensure that as many young people as possible can benefit from this fund. It is requested that only those that are most in need of this assistance will apply. All participants should make a contribution of the fee themselves, therefore a maximum amount of €250 can be applied for. If they can raise some of the fee by any other means (eg funding, sponsorship, local project or club contribution etc) they should only apply for a percentage of the total fee. This will mean that the fund can be shared among more young people.
