Foróige delivers a range of UBU Projects, funded through the UBU – Your Place, Your Space scheme by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY). These Projects provide needs-based, targeted youth services that support young people’s personal, social, and educational development in their communities.
About UBU
UBU Projects are designed to ensure that young people who face additional challenges can access safe spaces, positive relationships, and meaningful opportunities. Delivered by professional youth workers, these Projects focus on engagement, empowerment, and inclusion, helping young people to reach their full potential.
UBU Projects are place-based and needs-led, meaning that services are tailored to the specific challenges and opportunities within each community. They provide a vital support network, fostering confidence, resilience, and skills for life and work.
