Developed by Foróige and widely used across the Youth Justice system, the programme helps young people explore how their thoughts, emotions and actions are connected – and what they can do to change course when things get tough.
Through 12 core modules and 16 optional ones, young people build skills in communication, empathy, impulse control, decision-making and more. Topics include anger, road safety, motivation, and offending behaviour – all tailored to the needs of the group or individual.
The approach is hands-on, reflective and empowering. It’s about valuing yourself, taking responsibility, and learning how to handle what life throws at you.
To date, over 300 Youth Justice Workers have been trained to deliver the programme, and it continues to be a key resource in Youth Diversion Projects nationwide.
