Recycle yours and your company’s smart phones and help raise vital funds for young people in Ireland

In the first charity drive of its kind in Ireland businesses are being asked to donate their company smart phones - Yes Smart Phones – when next implementing an organisational upgrade. Businesses can also support the initiative by displaying a tamper proof collection box in a communal area in their workplace encouraging staff and visitors to donate their smart phones too.

The former Governor of Mountjoy Prison, John Lonergan, has launched a drug awareness music video which has been produced by teenagers at the Foróige Garda Youth Diversion Project in Portarlington, County Laois.

The music video entitled 'Why Do You Make Me Cry?' tells the tragic story of a young man who dies as a result of drug abuse. The DVD was made by 22 girls and boys aged 12 to 17 who attend the Foróige Port Project in Portarlington. The ten minute long music DVD will be distributed in schools and promoted extensively online.

A skeleton crew from Ireland's largest youth organisation, Foróige, has organised a fangtastic new annual event witch promises to be absolutely terrifying.

'Foróige Freaky Friday' will take place on Friday the 26th of October and already spirits are high! All sorts of scary events will take place during Halloween week, starting on Freaky Friday the 26th.

Teens Awarded Foróige Leadership Certificates During Conferring Ceremony at NUI Galway

111 teenagers from around Ireland graduated from the Foróige Albert Schweitzer Leadership for Life Programme during a conferring ceremony in NUI Galway at the weekend. The graduates were deemed to have demonstrated a desire to lead from the front and set a good example to their peers through positive decision making and actions.
