Paul Kelly, Station Officer with Bundoran Fire Station, presented a cheque of €200 to Caroline Cooke of Bundoran Foróige Neighbourhood Youth Project, supporting young people and families in the community, from the Donegal Firefighters Association Charity this week.

Caroline Cooke, Foróige Project Worker said “The Bundoran Fire Station show huge support to the Foróige Bundoran Youth Project.  Having worked together over a number of years the fire crew have got involved and supported local Foróige events from Football Tournaments, Music Shows, Fundraisers, Make a wish project and the Foróige Pay It Forward Programme.

“The Crew are always so eager to help out, they have not only supported the project financially but they have also created great opportunities and life long memories for young people in the community. On behalf of the Foroige Bundoran NYP I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all the crew in the fire station for the generous donation and the continued support and help they give to the project.
