Foróige Juniors, Lismore moved into their new dedicated premises on Monday.
The Juniors members and their Club Leaders were delighted to have a place to call their own and were the first group to use the Foróige building located on Main Street, Lismore, Co. Waterford.
The bright and colourful space allowed for plenty of room for board games, arts & crafts, team building exercise and of course, somewhere to make hot chocolate!
Three government Ministers attended the launch of the Ashbourne Youth Centre last night, alongside Foróige staff, volunteers and young people.
Minister for Children & Youth Affairs Katherine Zappone, TD; Minister for Employment Affairs & Social Protection Regina Doherty, TD; and Minister of State for European Affairs Helen McEntee, TD; all attended the launch. The event also had widespread support from the local community.
