Bravo to Ballineen Foróige in Co. Cork who have planned a seriously cool festival to renew community spirit as part of their Foróige Citizenship project! The ‘Le Chéile Festival’ will take place from Friday August 23rd to Sunday August 25th. The club have put tremendous effort into creating a superb line up thanks to the fundraising efforts they’ve carried out all year. Highlights include Jack & Cormac from Britain’s Got Talent, children’s fancy dress party, Heritage Walk and Talk, comedy hypnotist Adrian Knight, family outdoor cinema, opening of €250,000 playground by special guest Joanne O'Riordan, Cork circus entertainment, Beat the Keeper Competition with Eoin O'Donovan from 'Football's Next Star' and 'The Gathering' music and entertainment.

Ballineen & Enniskeane are twin villages located on the main Bandon to Dunmwany road. They are approximately 25 miles from Bishopstown. The area is served by the Cork to Glengarriff and Castletownbere buses (236 route). There will be parking available. The BEDA Community Centre is located between the two villages (the entrance is on the left hand side after Shorten's garage).
