ReelLife Science is a national short film competition, a great summer programme project or an add-on activity for STEAM programmes.
You can support young people of all ages to create a 1 - 3 minute film or animation, in English or Irish on an element of Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths.
The competition is open to young people in Ireland and Northern Ireland representing their Youth Organisation, Primary School or Secondary School.
Prize of €1000 for ReelLife Science winning video
Winning films are screened for the public at the Galway Science and Technology Festival.
All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
The closing date for ReelLife Science is 15th October
Films are marked on the level of Science explained, Production of the film and X-Factor.

1. Information sessions on ReelLife Science Competition for staff and volunteers working with young people
2. Online workshops for adults working with young people;
Basic Animation
Recording & editing a film on a phone or tablet
3. Arrange an "Ask a scientist" online session for your group.
4. Resources such as a guide on entering the competition, Instagram and Facebook posters.
