NFTE Alumni Thomas Curtin and Dylan Moloney with their business (The Kone Kollectors ) have been successful in their application to New Frontiers.
The Kone Kollectors won the NFTE International competition in 2018 and represented Ireland in New York receiving their global NFTE award. Since then the two boys have been continuing to work on their business and progressing to the next stages. They have had many achievements along the way with winning the opportunity to represent Ireland once more at the NFTE Alumni Investor Forum in 2021 and have also been working with ActionCOACH Ireland to support them to the next level.
New Frontiers is the national programme designed to develop entrepreneurs, delivered on behalf of Enterprise Ireland by Institutes of Technology and Universities. Limerick Institute of Technology's Hartnett Enterprise Acceleration Centre in partnership with the Nexus Centre, University of Limerick deliver the programme for the Limerick, Clare and Tipperary region in LIT’s Hartnett Centre based on the Moylish Campus. The programme’s primary purpose is to accelerate the development of sustainable new businesses that have strong employment and growth potential and contribute to job creation and economic activity in the region.New Frontiers Programme can provide entrepreneurs with help and support to accelerate business development and to equip them with the skills and contacts that they need to successfully start and grow their own company. The Programme is run over three phases, during which they will gain the confidence and skills to develop their business idea within a supportive and encouraging environment.
This is such a fantastic opportunity for Thomas and Dylan and gives the young people in the NFTE programme an opportunity to aspire to and work towards advancing to the next level in business. We wish them the best of luck with their future endeavours and have no doubt we are going to be hearing more about these two budding entrepreneurs in the future!!
