Foróige is a long standing youth development organisation in Ireland that is imbued with an ethos and philosophy that recognises the uniqueness and value of every individual. We support and encourage each young person to develop themselves and contribute to making their community and Ireland a better place in which to live.
We are an organisation that respects and believes in each young person and treats all equally. Foróige recognises and celebrates that our membership and leadership is made up of a diverse group of people, and does not discriminate against anyone. We recognise and are proud that our young people, volunteers and staff involved in the organisation come from all sexual orientations including straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
In line with our own equality policy and practice, the organisation supports actions that promote equality and sees the “Yes” campaign as a step forward to a more equal and inclusive Ireland. Therefore, the National Executive of Foróige decided to support the “Yes” campaign on Marriage Equality.
