Foróige is proud to share the key findings from our third Gender Pay Gap Report under the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021. The 2024 report highlights significant progress toward gender pay equality within our organisation.
Key Highlights
Workforce Composition: As of June 30, 2024, Foróige employed 616 staff, 76.1% of whom are female (up from 75.8% in 2023).
Reduced Pay Gaps:
- The mean gender pay gap decreased from 6% in 2023 to 3% in 2024.
- The median gender pay gap is now less than 1%, down from 4% in 2023.
- Adjusting for maternity and paternity top-ups, the mean gap is just 1% and the median approaches zero.
Part-Time Staff: Female part-time employees now earn 5% more per hour than their male counterparts, a positive swing from 3% less in 2023. This reflects more senior female staff opting for part-time or parental leave.
Pay Quartiles: Staff distribution across pay quartiles reflects the gender balance in the organisation, showing equitable representation at all levels.
Foróige remains dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace with equal pay opportunities and career development for all. We are proud of the progress made over three years of reporting and will continue to lead by example in the youth development sector.
