Conference on leadership to be heard by 270 young people from around the world

Matt McCoy is currently appearing in 'Touch' on TV3 and 'The Mentalist' on RTÉ but he is probably best known for starring in two 'Police Academy' films, 'L.A. Confidential' and also the highly acclaimed film, 'The hand that rocks the cradle'. Commenting on the conference, Matt said:

Cork Suicide Awareness Soccer Tournament to Become Annual Event

More than one hundred soccer players from across Cork City and County have raised much needed funds to promote positive mental health among young people and help create awareness around the difficult subject of suicide.

Drogheda Mayor: New drug & alcohol booklet WILL have an impact because 'peers listen to peers'

The Mayor of Drogheda, Cllr Paul Bell, has said a new peer education booklet, dealing with alcohol and drugs issues among teens, will have an impact because 'peers listen to peers'.

He was speaking at the launch of 'Make the Right Choice - Keep it Real', an education booklet which has been put together by teenagers at the Foróige CABLE Project based in Moneymore, Drogheda.
