In 2012, Cork youth organisation Ógra Chorcaí merged into Foróige. It was the largest merger of its kind in the history of Irish youth work. Outgoing Ógra Chorcaí CEO Declan O'Leary was appointed Southern Region Area Manager for Foróige. He explains how the move happened in the best interests of the young people in Cork.
