Reconnecting with Foróige

Whatever happened to the people who belonged to your old Foróige Club? Your pals, the volunteers, the club leaders? Perhaps you’ve lost contact with those people you met through Foróige and are wondering how to get back in touch. So let’s re-connect. We want to hear about your time with Foróige! What did you learn? What did you achieve? What did you gain? Were you involved in our Citizenship or Leadership programmes? Tell us about the experience and what you enjoyed the most!

There are 60+ years of memories which unite us all.

College Societies

Foróige has established College Societies in NUI Galway, Athlone IT, St. Angela’s in Sligo and NUI Maynooth. They have been actively raising money for Foróige, are participating in volunteering opportunities and are socialising with other former members, volunteers and staff. A Foróige Society can be created in any 3rd level institution and they’re a fabulous way to make new friends and make a positive impact on the development of young people in Ireland.

Friends of Foróige

The focus of Friends of Foróige groups is to provide an outlet for adults to get back in touch with past Foróige members and organise activities to fundraise for Foróige nationally. Your contact at Foróige is [email protected] (Alumni Officer) and her number is (086) 0200995.
