A Foróige Club is a space where young people can meet weekly, make decisions together, and shape their own experiences with support from a team of adult volunteers. It’s youth-led, volunteer-supported, and deeply rooted in the local community.
You don’t need a background in youth work – just the passion to help young people grow in confidence, leadership and connection.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating a safe, welcoming environment for young people
- Supporting them to plan and lead their own activities
- Building a team of fellow volunteers
- Linking in with your Foróige staff member for training, support and resources
- Helping young people feel proud of where they’re from and excited about what they can do
We’ll support you every step of the way, from getting set up to running your weekly Club nights. You’ll get full training, advice on how to recruit volunteers, and all the materials you need to run a vibrant, youth-led Club.
The impact? Young people with more confidence. A stronger sense of community. And a Club night full of energy, ideas and laughter – run by the young people themselves.
If you’re ready to get something started, we’d love to hear from you.
