The Science Programme

This programme provides opportunities for young people to explore the natural and man-made environment. Club members investigate and carry out activities in areas such as conservation, ecology and technology.

ACTIVITY EXAMPLES

• Study local plant and animal life
• Learn about computers
• Make a crystal radio
• Investigate the sources of pollution in the area
• Plot out a nature trail and write an accompanying guide
• Visit power stations, factories, science exhibitions
