What a rollercoaster it’s been! After months of regional finals, filming, rehearsals, shirt ironing and hair straightening, Ireland’s Top Teens have finally been an announced! The Attic Youth Café, Longford triumphed by winning the National Youth Citizenship Award for their clever student discount card. The National Youth Citizenship Awards were a truly star-studded event at the Helix, DCU and were broadcast on Sunday 6^th November on TV3. Attendees couldn’t believe their eyes to see the likes of Jedward, Ryan Sheridan, Flawless from Britain’s Got Talent performing on stage, not to mention Bono, Mary Byrne, Michael Flatley and other much loved celebrities who expressed their admiration for the nominees. The ten nominated groups from all over Ireland were as follows: Ardagh Foróige Club, An Spidéal Foróige Club, Mini Crotchers Peer Led Group, Southend Family Resource Centre, Attic Foróige Youth Club, RathnewLegends, Fiat 500 Group, NRG Youth Group, Kinsale Foróige Club, Balbriggan Youth Service.  The show was hosted by the highly capable Karen Koster.
