Foróige Launches Youth Manifesto

Foróige, Irelands leading youth organisation, launches its youth manifesto ahead of the general election today calling on all parties to commit to a programme to maximise the potential of Ireland’s young people as a key strategy to support Ireland’s economic and social recovery.

At the launch Seán Campbell, CEO Foróige, said that “Youth work is a key asset in the development of Ireland’s knowledge economy, so what is good for our young people is good for Ireland.  I fully believe that non-formal education is the education frontier of the 21^st Century and those countries that get it right will reap the economic and social rewards long into the future.”
