'Friends of Foróige’ is a new initiative that has been developed to promote, advocate and fundraise for Foróige. Former/current volunteers, past members (18+) and supporters of Foróige are all encouraged to get involved. Involvement in these groups requires a minimum amount of time and are already proving to be an essential part of the organisation. Cavan, Westmeath, Offaly, Longford, Galway and Wicklow have already established Friends of Foróige groups and are organising fundraising Barn Dances, ‘Rock n Roll Bingo’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ events.

If you believe in the impact that Foróige has on young people’s lives and have a few hours to spare, please get in contact. It would be greatly appreciated. Contact Breda Maguire on 086 0200995 for more information.

There are exciting times ahead for people who are going into college in the Autumn, as they can now get involved in their college ‘Foróige Society’. These societies are open to anyone and everyone attending the college. Currently there are societies in St. Angela’s in Sligo, NUIG, NUI Maynooth and AIT. They're spreading around the country at a speedy rate and anyone interested in establishing or getting involved in a Society in their college should get in touch

Foróige Clubs and Projects all around the Country are getting involved in ‘Foróige does the Gathering’. We are promoting the work that we do and are inviting former members, leaders and the wider community to see the invaluable work that Foróige does. Join the event on Facebook here for updates.
