The Foróige Youth Citizenship Awards, in partnership with Aldi Ireland, takes place later this month, and will recognise the amazing contribution that young people make to their local community.
The Citizenship programme was established by Foróige in 1969, and empowers young people to use their talents and initiative to make a positive difference to the world around them.
Over 2,500 young people will attend this year's awards on April 29th, to showcase projects that have tackled issues such as the environment, community well-being, and mental health.
For more than four decades the Citizenship programme has encouraged young people to take action to make the world a better place.
Here is a reminder of just a few of the projects from previous years.
